"Beyond the Current Paradigm: Leading with Innovation in Atrial Fibrillation"

Objectives: At this conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Treat patient with atrial fibrillation in a timelier matter and according to the latest guideline recommendations.
  2. Reduce thromboembolic complications of atrial fibrillation by earlier intervention.

 

Target Audience and Needs: Internal Medicine faculty, staff, registered nurses, residents, fellows, students, and internists specializing in Allergy & Immunology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Geriatrics, Hematology & Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Palliative Care, Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, and Rheumatology need to be regularly updated with new research and guidelines regarding the evaluation and management of medical disorders and implement them in clinical practice to enhance the quality of patient care and improve patient outcomes.

Educational Methods: Educational methods will include lectures, case presentations, literature review, and panel discussion.

Activity Evaluation: Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.
