We're thrilled to welcome back Dr. Maurice Willis as our new Chief of Medical Oncology and Hematology! Dr. Willis, who served UTMB from 2006 to 2018 and maintained care for our patients during his time at MD Anderson, returns with an impressive track record. At Saint Louis University, he expanded clinical trials, strengthened training programs, and advanced multidisciplinary collaboration—expertise he now brings back home to UTMB. Team recruitment is advancing rapidly as we build this cornerstone of our cancer care program.
