Dr. Ken Fujise has been appointed Director of Cardiology Research within the Division of Cardiology. He is a well-funded and productive investigator. I have tasked him with growing research in the Division, particularly clinical research.
Dr. Syed Gilani, Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, will assume the role of Division Chief on an interim basis, effective immediately.
