General Medicine would like to congratulate Dr. Ali and Dr. Qureshi on their new role as team leaders. Dr. Ali will lead The Powell Team and Dr. Qureshi will lead The Daniels Team. As team leaders each one has the responsibility to represent, engage,
organize and oversee the performance of a group of physicians within the division of General Internal Medicine.
Congratulations to Dr. Carrete for her new role as a Physician Advisor. She will be responsible for working with other physicians to improve clinical documentation, educate fellow physicians about different quality standards, and serving as a bridge between
attending physicians, care managers, utilization review staff, and hospital administration.
