Congratulations to Dr. Xuan-Zheng (Peter) Shi, Professor of Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology! As the PI, Dr. Shi is awarded a new Department of Defense grant ($1.756 million) to study mechanism of action of exclusive enteral nutrition in Crohn’s disease. Other key personnel in the team includes Drs. Cohn, Cong, and Winston of UTMB and Dr. M’Koma of Meharry Medical College and Vanderbilt University.
