The new Women+ in Internal Medicine Faculty Support and Interest Group (W+IMSIG) will meet in person and virtually to discuss topics of interest including work-life balance and career advancement, and to share and help each other with questions and challenges. The group is not restricted to women; anyone with an interest is welcome to join. We will try and accommodate everyone by combining virtual and in person meetings throughout the year. In-person meetings will occur at different locations, on and off the island, either for lunch or dinner, about 4 times a year. Our contact would remain steady throughout the year via a digital support network. If you are interested in being part of the planning of this group, please e-mail Dr. Maria Belalcazar this week. It would be great to have your input! We will have one or two small group virtual meetings in the next 2 or 3 weeks to discuss logistics and plan for our first in person event for late April/early May (after Ramadan which starts this week).
