  • Does our faculty compensation plan confuse you? Want to learn more? Then please come to our DOM FCIP refresher course led by Victor Moreno on June 8th at 12pm via TEAMS.
  • Has anything good been happening in our Department? The answer is absolutely!!!! Read below and take a look.

We goofed! Because of a technical glitch our DOM suggestion form was not collecting and relaying your feedback to us. The good news is that the suggestion form has been updated and is now working as intended Please give us feedback. Submit your suggestions here: https://forms.office.com

Other stuff:

  • DOM Fall 2023 APT Submission deadline is Friday, September 8th followed by the APT meeting on Friday October 6th. Please find a summary of APT guidelines here. Reach out to Michelle Roberts at mirobert@utmb.edu if you have any questions or need further information.
  • LGBTQ+ Health Research Symposium: Allies in Health will be hosting the LGBTQ+ Health Research Symposium on June 29th at 11:30am, held in conjunction with the 2nd Annual Pride Month President's Reception. This event focuses on LGBTQ+ related research topics and will feature a keynote address by Dr. Muton and the announcement of the LGBTQ+ Champion award. A networking lunch will be provided, offering an opportunity to connect with fellow researchers and colleagues. This event will take place on June 29th, 2023, from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm in the Caduceus Room, (6th floor administration building).   • We are always looking for news to highlight in our newsletter and weekly relays. Did something good happen in your life (birth, wedding, award)? Did a colleague achieve something newsworthy? Please email news and information to Rachel McClere at rlmccler@utmb.edu
