Dr. Hassan joins UTMB after being in private practice in nephrology around Houston and covering kidney transplant programs in North Dakota and Washington state. He also has significant international experience, working as consultant in transplant and general nephrology overseas following his training in the USA. He was elected to the Fellowship of American College of Physicians around 2000. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
