Welcome to the this second edition of the thrice yearly Research Newsletter from Department of Internal Medicine.
Newsletters are communication tools, to provide updated information and solicit your feedback. We will provide information, reminders of important research dates, recognize our hard work in
submitting competitive grant applications, celebrate our funding successes, and highlight our publication productivity.
Continue to be cognizant of the expectations for research grant submission and publications. Review them as you plan your research program for this year.
For new and revised applications, a letter of intent 30 days prior to submission date is strongly recommended. This letter will allow our administrators to begin the work of collecting relevant and required documents for your application. All administrative items must be completed 5 BUSINESS days prior to submission, and the remainder (Research Plan etc.) must be complete 2 BUSINESS days prior to submission. Keep this timeline in mind as you work up your proposals.
