The first iDSMES (intensive Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support) session in Spanish has started on October 6, 2022 at the Rosenberg Library in Galveston. Ms. Monica Hernandez and Ms. Lucero Salinas jointly coached a group of Spanish-speaking participants with diabetes on learning about the benefits of health behaviors. The in-person session at the Rosenberg Library is not only convenient but also comfortable after such a long-term isolation during the pandemic.
