The Internal Medicine Core Clerkship is an eight-week rotation in the third year of medical school. Each student will spend four weeks on an internal medicine inpatient service (split into two-week blocks) and four weeks on two different subspecialty services (split into two-week blocks). The clerkship accommodates approximately 40 students per cohort. Students work with interns, residents, and faculty each day.
