Bio - Hafeez, Muhammad Ubaid, MD

  • Dr. Hafeez is dual board certified in Neurology and Neurocritical Care from American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Tenure-track) of Neurology at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he brings his expertise in neurocritical care, critical care EEG, and treatment-refractory epilepsy.

    Dr. Hafeez completed his medical education from King Edward Medical University, Pakistan, followed by an Internship at the Mayo Hospital Lahore, Pakistan, Postdoctoral research at the State University of New York at Buffalo, Neurology Residency and Neurocritical Care Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and Epilepsy Fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston.

    Dr. Hafeez is a Clinician-Educator-Scholar with over 40 peer-reviewed publications and over 25 presentations in his areas of expertise at national and internal clinical and scientific conferences. At the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Dr. Hafeez he attends on the Neurocritical Care service, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, EEG and outpatient clinics.
