Dr. De Matas received the GGCTSA Mentored Pilot Award

This pilot award will examine teacher-identified barriers to AI mental health literacy in K-12 classrooms. The project will identify factors that shape perceptions of credibility and trust and co-design educational strategies to help students critically evaluate AI-generated health information. Findings will inform the development of a future teacher-delivered AI health literacy intervention and support subsequent NIH-funded research.

Congratulations Dr. De Matas!
