- Creating Educational Materials
We intend to host guest speakers and attend seminars that contribute to our knowledge and experience as weightlifters, athletes, and medical professionals. We will seek out speakers who link the two worlds together and provide for us a way to incorporate our interest in our greatest hobby and sport into our profession.
We may also create educational materials on weightlifting, exercise, and proper eating, for the gym inclined and for those not so disposed. This would allow us to practice teaching others what we have learned from our own experiences, increasing the diversity of thought, and using our teaching to better improve ourselves through solidifying what we've learned.
We might incorporate conferences and booths for the same reasons as above.
It is possible we will start fundraisers for gym equipment, but this will be at the discretion of the members. This would enrich our field house and allow us to leave it in a better condition than we found it.
