#SLACoff with the Student Life Activities Committee
The Student Life Activities Committee (SLAC) acts as an advisory board for some of Student Life's initiatives, events, activities, and services. SLAC assists in planning and chairing programs and events throughout the year.
SLAC committee members meet on Tuesdays every two weeks at Noon in the Senate Conference Room (Location: Jamail Student Center; Second Floor; Room 2.132) or on Zoom, contingent on COVID Protocols. Food is provided at in-person meetings
to the committee members who RSVP by the Thursday before the meeting.
If you are interested in becoming a committee member, please send an email to student.life@utmb.edu with the subject SLAC Committee Member - 2024. The advisors for SLAC will reach out to you with further instructions.
Students who want to stay up-to-date but don't feel like they can commit the time to the committee are welcome to join the SLAC Email List to receive notifications of upcoming events and meeting updates.
