Annual Crawfish Boil 2023 - Partnered with GSO and SGA - April 13, 2023

Our annual Crawfish Boil is back! The Graduate Student Organization and Student Government Association are pairing up for this month's TGIT! Join us April 13th at 5:30 pm in out next to Old Red and Jamail Student Center. Crawfish, corn, and potatoes, are available first-come, first-serve. We will also have a limited number of vegetarian plates. Food is free to all UTMB students, just present your UTMB ID.

The Cookout - Partnered with SNMA and SGA - April 3, 2023

Celebrate the UTMB Student Community with SNMA and SGA. There will be Food, music, and Games at the lawn in front of Old Red from 5PM to 7PM.

Experience Holi 2023 - March 8, 2023

Lunar New Year Celebration - Partnered with APAMSA and SGA - February 7, 2023

APAMSA and SGA are hosting the annual Lunar New Year Celebration on February 7th, 5-7pm at the Jamail Student Center! Come by for FREE boba, food, raffle prizes, and more! We will have activity booths where you can make your own paper lanterns, red envelops, play games, etc. Tell your friends and come hangout!

SGA Holiday Toy Drive 2022 - December 8, 2022

The Office of Student Life and UTMB SGA collected and delivered over 250 toys for 97 children across Galveston County to enjoy this holiday season.We would like thank everyone that participated and give a special thanks to the Child Advocacy Center of Galveston County for continually allowing us to work with them on this project each year.

Holiday in the Gardens - Festival of Lights - December 2022

If you have not experienced the magic of the Moody Gardens light show, Holiday in the Gardens: Festival of Lights we encourage you to grab a ticket, grab a friend, and enjoy the lights.For UTMB students registering through the Office of Student Life, tickets will be $10.00! There is a limit of 2 tickets per student. This can be paid by cash, card, or check in the Office of Student Life when you pick up your ticket(s).

If you have not experienced the magic of the Moody Gardens light show, Holiday in the Gardens: Festival of Lights we encourage you to grab a ticket, grab a friend, and enjoy the lights. Over One Million Lights are lit on the Moody Gardens Property. Follow the mile long trail of lighted scenes that are backed by the view of the glistening Galveston Bay.

Every year we host a Student Organization Fair to introduce our students to the various organizations on campus! This year, we are going virtual. Join us on Microsoft Teams on September 15th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm to learn about all the ways you can get involved!On the day of the event, you can browse the organization channels and join the meetings to learn more about each org.

Tie Dye Tuesday - July 27, 2021

Join the Student Life Activities Committee for TIE DYE TUESDAY on July 27th!You must sign up for a time slot to tie dye a shirt. Signing up for a time slot will guarantee you a shirt. e will do our best to accomodate sizes, but we make no promises
