Fellowship Overview

Welcome to the Geriatrics Fellowship Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston! The Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program at UTMB is a fully accredited ACGME training program in geriatric medicine for graduates of internal medicine or family medicine residencies.

  • Galveston and surrounding area are home to an ethnically, culturally, and economically diverse population of elders. Our geriatric fellowship program is structured to provide geriatric training and clinical experiences to our trainees to become national leaders in research and education in geriatrics and gerontology. 
  • UTMB Geriatric Medicine Fellowship prepares fellows to be leaders in geriatric medicine through a wide variety of clinical and didactic experiences.
