To be screened is the award-winning documentary, Resilience: The Biology of Stress & The Science of Hope. This documentary chronicles the birth of a new movement among clinicians, therapists, educators and communities, who are using cutting-edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease.

Conference objectives are to 1)better understand immigrant health status and access to care, 2)address gaps in policy and intervene on behalf of migrants, and 3)identify concrete next steps to enhance collaboration.

UTMB's 6th Annual Symposium will explore the role of academic institutions in global health policy, implementation and leadership. The Symposium will occur on October 14th in Galveston, Texas, highlighting the work of UTMB and other regional institution trainees in global health.
