Meredith Weglarz is an ASCP-certified Specialist in Cytometry (SCYM) with over 13 years of experience in flow cytometry, immunology, and core facility management. She currently serves as Assistant Director of the Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Core at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she oversees daily operations, instrumentation, training, and strategic growth of the facility. Meredith has extensive hands-on expertise with advanced analytic and sorting platforms, leads development of QA/QC and biosafety programs, and works closely with investigators on experimental design and data analysis. She is also an active leader in the cytometry community, serving as President of FlowTex and contributing to national and international professional societies.
