65th Annual National Student Research Forum - April 20, 2024

The 65th Annual National Student Research Forum (NSRF) will be held on April 20, 2024 on the UTMB campus. The NSRF is organized and run by students for the discussion of student research papers in a scientific atmosphere. The Oral Presentation Abstract deadline will be March 9, 2024; Poster Presentation Abstract Deadline: March 23, 2024; and Osler Essay Contest Deadline: March 23, 2024. Click here to learn more. Faculty Workshop: Optimizing Mentoring Relationships for Research Mentors - April 26, 2024

Presented by the UTMB Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Dr. Robert Tillman, Assistant Dean, Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development; Director of Mentoring and Professional Development; Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Baylor College of Medicine. GSBS/SPPH Commencement 2024 - May 17, 2024

The School of Public and Population Health and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences will host a joint Commencement at 2:00pm on Friday, May 17, 2024, in William C. Levin Hall Auditorium on the UTMB campus. Congrats to our 2023 GSBS graduates! 

We will celebrate your accomplishments at our 2023 commencement ceremony to be held on Friday, May 19, 2023.

For the first time, we will hold the commencement ceremony off campus at the Galveston Island Convention Center located at 5600 Seawall Blvd.

Order of events is as follows, and please note we are asking graduates to arrive to the Convention Center no later than 12:15pm:

Prior to 12:15 p.m.Graduates to Check-In – Ballroom C
12:15-1:00 p.m.Rehearsal for Student Graduates (dressed and wearing regalia) Ballrooms A & B
1:00-1:15 p.m.Graduate Group Photo. Faculty arrive for robing and hooding practice
1:30-1:45 p.m.Graduates and Faculty Line Up
2:00-3:30 p.m.*Commencement Ceremony – Ballrooms A & B
3:30-4:30 p.m.Reception
Until 5:00 p.m.Regalia Return to Balfour – Ballroom C
