Once again, our UTMB family has shown incredible generosity in giving to the 2014 State Employee Charitable Campaign. The 2014 final totals reflect the spirit of compassion that UTMB employees demonstrate year after year.
I’m very pleased to announce that we exceeded our ambitious half-a-million-dollar goal, raising almost $520,000 with support from more than 2,700 employees. Each of these dollars will make a difference in the lives of our neighbors, locally and regionally.
I truly appreciate all of the hard work that Campaign Chair Todd Leach and his creative team contributed to make this year’s effort a resounding success. I’d also like to extend my sincere thanks to each and every employee who helped continue our institution’s strong legacy of giving. Your generosity to the 2014 SECC effort proves once again that the UTMB family really does “have a heart.”
