Bio-Sheharyar Merwat

  • Dr. Sheharyar Merwat's practice is focused on the treatment of liver disease and managing the medical complexities of patients needing a liver transplant. For him, it is important that my patients have an understanding of their disease process. The more patients understand their disease process, the better equipped they are to make decisions about their healthcare. Liver disease is often a lifelong process, and it is important that my patients feel involved and informed about the care that UTMB has to offer.
