The UTMB Chronic Home Dialysis unit recently received a Recognized Facility Status in the area of Peritoneal Dialysis Severe Anemia Management for 2010 from the End Stage Renal Disease Network of Texas, Inc. Medical Review Board. This recognition was
achieved by ranking in the top 10 percent of all Texas facilities for one or more core indicators during the 2010 Quality of Care project.
