Guidelines for Stationery Use
-
Brand Compliance
To preserve the integrity of institutional communications:
- Always use one of the approved letterhead files—do not recreate or modify branded elements.
- Keep the logo, margins, type styles, and footer information exactly as provided.
- Do not resize, recolor, or reposition the logo, address block, or branding components.
- Use only the approved institutional fonts for all correspondence.
- Maintain consistent formatting, spacing, and tone throughout the document.
- Avoid adding unapproved graphics, patterns, or alternate marks.
-
Accessibility
To ensure communications are clear and inclusive:
- Use text sizes that meet accessibility standards; avoid reducing the default font sizes.
- Maintain sufficient contrast between text and background—especially when using the self-serve digital version.
- Use descriptive hyperlinks that communicate destination or purpose.
- Ensure PDFs generated from letterhead documents preserve text accessibility and proper reading order.
- Avoid using color alone to convey emphasis or meaning.
