Bio-Andrea Wirt

  • Andrea Wirt completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch. A few years later, she came back to UTMB to join the Geriatric Division as the Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Throughout her tenure, Andrea has presented on over 20 topics and has a chapter publication in Gerontological Nursing. In April 2016, she received the UTMB DAISY award which recognizes the inspired effort nurses put forth every day.
