Water Quality

Water Quality Management Program

Our Water Quality Management Program exists to identify, control, and monitor potential risks within our building water systems. In a healthcare setting, stagnant water, improper temperatures, and low disinfectant levels can create conditions for bacterial growth and increase the risk of waterborne pathogens.

By tracking temperatures, maintaining circulation, verifying disinfectant residuals, and performing routine Legionella sampling, we reduce risk before it becomes a problem. This program supports patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability across our facility.

In alignment with guidance from The Joint Commission and industry best practices, our program emphasizes proactive monitoring, documented corrective actions, and continuous improvement. Water system performance is reviewed regularly to ensure standards are maintained and risks are promptly addressed.

At its core, this program reflects our commitment to creating a safe healing environment — where purpose meets passion. Protecting our patients, visitors, and staff through diligent water management is more than a regulatory requirement; it is part of the responsibility we take seriously every day.

Together, these tools strengthen communication, improve response time, and reinforce our shared responsibility in maintaining a safe healthcare environment.
