About Us

Welcome to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), a component of Business Operations & Facilities (BOF) at UTMB Health.  The EHS Team of safety, health, and environmental professionals work to protect the health & safety of faculty, staff, students, patients,and visitors at UTMB as well as ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.


The mission of EHS is to work with our customers to provide a workplace free of recognized hazards in support of the UTMB mission to improve health for the people of Texas and around the world.
