Biography
Karen
Alberstadt, MPAS, PA-C is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the
Department of Physician Assistant Studies in the John Sealy School of
Medicine. She completed a master’s degree in physician assistant studies
at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and practiced as a physician
assistant in family practice. Prior to becoming a physician assistant,
Professor Alberstadt completed bachelor and master degrees in nutrition
and worked as a hospital dietitian with an emphasis on enteral and
parenteral feedings.
