Biography
Kathryn (Katie) Oliver, MPAS, PA-C is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at UTMB. She completed a Bachelors in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University in 2015 and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UTMB in 2018. She then went on to complete a PA fellowship in Emergency Medicine through Baylor College of Medicine at Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston, TX.
She has experience in academic & community emergency departments and continues to practice clinically in emergency medicine. Mrs. Oliver has been involved with the Texas Academy of PAs (TAPA) since she was a pre-PA. She previously served as UTMB’s student director, the Student Affairs Committee Chair, and continues to be an active member of TAPA.
