Biography
Lawrence (Larry) Herman, MPA, PA-C, DFAAPA is an Associate Program Director and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) at the School of Health Professions at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Mr. Herman is a PA program graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook and holds a Master's degree in Public Administration in Healthcare Administration and Finance from Long Island University. A former dean, professor and program director, clinically he was Chief PA in a large New York City trauma system, and a multi-specialty practice where he was the administrative medical director. Mr. Herman recently served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of PAs where he was President and Chair of the Board of Directors.
