Records Management Compliance

Overview

The Office of Records Management Compliance is responsible for ensuring all departments at UTMB preserve and protect the state records their department creates, sends, or receives in an efficient and economical manner. By assisting departments inventory, research, store, preserve, and dispose of university records, Records Management Compliance has established an active and continuing records program in accordance with Texas Government Code 441.180 and the UTMB Institutional Handbook of Operating Procedure (IHOP) Policy 6.1.5, Records and Information Management and Retention. Guidance, assistance, and training in all aspects of the program is provided to all University departments.

 

Records Management Compliance DOES NOT process or fulfill Medical Records or Employee Records Requests.
