Pediatric Urgent and Emergent care provides a caring environment for children and their families. There is always a board certified pediatrician on-site to address any child's urgent health care needs. We practice evidence based medicine to provide outstanding and compassionate care to our patients, exceptional instruction to our learners and growing access to our community. We utilize our resources conscientiously and strive to create an atmosphere of growth and soul nurturing for our team. We offer:

  • Newborn jaundice clinic (by appointment) on weekends and holidays,
  • After and extended hours pediatric urgent care clinics in Galveston and League City,
  • Radiology services and
  • On-site testing available.

This clinic provides both Primary Care and Specialty Care services to children and youth from birth through 21 years of age. All services are provided in a family-centered setting with specialized education and support to optimize care and outcomes.
This clinic is a state-of-the-art facility. Faculty and resident pediatricians are present in this location, providing care for infants and children from the newborn period through adolescence. As in our other locations (Island Pediatrics East and West), there are opportunities for families to participate in clinical studies, including those for vaccines.

Dr. Rupp is the Medical Director for Island Pedi West. This location offers both Primary Care and Urgent Care Clinics. We provide services to children and youth from birth through 21 years of age.

Weekday Hours: By Appointment only: Monday: 8am - 3pm AND Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 1pm - 3pm AND Friday 9am - 3pm 
Weekday Walk-in Hours: 3:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Weekend Hours: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Most Holidays: 12 noon - 8 p.m.
