Course Details

We invite you to join us at the South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center for our annual Pediatrics by the Gulf Conference. This pediatric conference provides healthcare professionals with the latest information on diagnostics and management regarding common pediatric conditions. Topics include AAP Guideline reviews, mental health, vaccine science, subspeciality medicine in primary and specialty care, ethics, and much more. Each session is devoted to the enhancement of pediatric provider knowledge in up-to-date topics and focuses on how to translate these topics into your daily practice

By the end of this program the learner will be able to:

Apply pediatric guidelines and evidence-based practice into the care for children with subspecialty conditions.
Diagnose, treat, and advocate for children with mental health conditions in the clinical and educational setting.

Course Format: 2-day Conference

Target Audience: This program is intended for pediatricians, family practice physicians, advanced pediatric providers, medical trainees, nurses, and social workers.

Guests will want to select their arrival and departure dates and then click “Update” to view all available rooms within the room block. For anyone who would like to arrive early or stay longer than the block, please contact the administrarion office below. The rate can be extended up to 4 days before or after your event date. Your CC is required to make a reservation but is not charged at the time of booking. It is only used to hold your room and dates. All resort fees are waived using this Link.

At check in, guests will need to provide the following:

- Their name
- A valid ID and credit card.

Parking: Complimentary parking is available for all guests and attendees. There is an upper parking lot and an underground parking garage.
Check-in: 3:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM (a later check-out is available upon requests at check-in)

No refunds will be issued for any requests made after May 17, 2027, to the UTMB Pediatric Administration Office (cl2coope@utmb.edu). Payments may not be applied to future conferences or other educational activities. There are no exceptions to this policy.
