UTMB's Records Retention Schedule will be decertified if the procedures outlines in 13 TAC 6.3 are not followed.
While it is rare, if UTMB's Records Retention Schedule is decertified, no department will be authorized to destroy records until the Records Retention Schedule has been reinstated and recertified by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC). You can help the University stay in compliance by doing your part to work with Records Management to keep your Records Retention Schedule up-to-date.
