Human Subjects Overview
The Human Subjects Research Monitoring Program (HSRMP), located within the Office of Institutional Compliance, assists principal investigators (PIs), research coordinators, and others conducting human subjects research to comply with federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies and to provide guidance on best practices, education, and training, when needed, in an effort to mitigate risk and to ensure data integrity.
With the ever increasing demand on researchers to keep up with research-related federal regulations, laws, guidelines, standards and institutional policies and procedures, the HSRMP encourages the UTMB research community to use this resource to facilitate the conduct of human subjects research.
