Complementing the clinical and academic strengths of our program are the special opportunities for personal enrichment outside work. The warm, sunny, coastal surroundings of Galveston Island offer endless year-round recreational opportunities amidst a charming, beautiful, historic community brimming
with boutiques, galleries, museums and seasonal events including one of the largest Mardi Gras celebrations outside New Orleans. Adjacent communities on the mainland offer a little bit of everything including low cost of living, highly regarded school districts, attractive neighborhoods,
and close proximity to Houston, one of the largest and most diverse cities in the nation. Our coastal location lends itself to impromptu beach days, outdoor barbeques, and so much more. We hope that our fellows get to enjoy all of this and more during
