Program Director & Associate Program Director
Our program is led by two recent graduates of the UTMB Infectious Diseases Fellowship, Dr. Patrik Hornak as Program Director and Dr. Daniel Stanton as Associate Program Director. Both are award-winning, passionate clinician-educators and heavily involved with teaching along the entire medical education continuum, from medical students to independent practitioners.
They are excited to contribute to the fellowship program as alumni, launching new longitudinal tracks, revamping didactics into an academic half day format, incorporating new elective rotations, and developing a research curriculum specifically for ID fellows.
