Our program is led by two recent graduates of the UTMB Infectious Diseases Fellowship, Dr. Patrik Hornak as Program Director and Dr. Daniel Stanton as Associate Program Director. Building up a long track-record of success, Drs. Hornak and Stanton are award-winning, passionate clinician-educators and heavily involved with teaching at UTMB, from medical students to residents to fellows to independent practitioners. They are excited to contribute to the fellowship program as alumni and busy working on curricular innovations including academic half day, longitudinal curricular pathways, unique elective rotations, and expanded opportunities for research training.
