Welcome to the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston! We are happy that you are interested in a career in ID and excited that you are considering training with us. From outstanding clinical experiences to robust research opportunities to specialized pathways for additional training (including a T32 physician-scientist track in emerging infectious diseases), we are eager to share our unique program and invite you to explore the remainder of this website. Our Mission

We strive to develop leaders in the Infectious Disease field by equipping them with the requisite knowledge and skills necessary to demonstrate excellence in the specialty. Our program is academically oriented with a strong emphasis on research. There is an important focus on global health which is shared across the institution.
