Mukund S. Prathivadibhayankaram, PhD

  • My primary research interest is understanding the pathogenesis of alcohol induced pancreatitis. My current focus as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) is on the elucidation of metabolic basis for alcoholic chronic pancreatitis. My project aims in understanding the molecular mechanism and metabolic basis to identify specific therapeutic targets for alcoholic chronic pancreatitis using deer mouse model, and in vitro techniques.
