Register your child for the UTMB Health Teddy Bear Clinic

Choose from one of six one-hour sessions offered each day.

March 17, 2021 • 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
March 18, 2021 • 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
WHAT:
FREE virtual health fair. Teddy Bear Clinics are child friendly health fairs designed to decrease anxiety and address children’s concerns over doctor’s visits and routine medical procedures. With Teddy (or their favorite stuffed animal) as the patient, children visit with health care providers to learn about the hospital and what happens there. Normally the clinic would be a live event but we are taking it online to provide a safe and fun activity children can take part in from home.

This activity is recommended for all children ages 4-11.

rburdett@utmb.edu with your preferred one-hour time slot. Please include your first and second choices of dates/times. Please include your child’s name and best contact information. You will receive an email confirming your date and time, containing instructions for the clinic, and the Zoom meeting link to join in the fun! If you have questions, please call 832-632-7721.
