    According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, teen drivers ages 16 to 19 are more likely to be in a fatal crash. HealthyChildren.org has some suggestions to help parents teach their teenagers to drive. After receiving their license, they are still in the process of learning. There should be clear guidelines or rules of the road and appropriate penalties for not following these rules.

    Marie Dawlett, MD, of the UTMB Department of Pediatrics says that families didn’t really see a “season” of transmission of RSV, rhinovirus and other ailments in the fall and winter of 2020-2021 that typically arise during that time. Now that precautions are not being followed as closely as before, more toddlers are at risk. Dr. Dawlett recommends that parents monitor their children for signs of shortness of breath, or struggling with breathing.
