Jan 18, 2022, 14:54 PM by Department of Pediatrics Patricia Rogers, MD, FAAP, has been recognized as Clinician of the Month for January 2022 by the UTMB Academy of Master Clinicians.Dr. Rogers is a highly distinguished professor of pediatrics with the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, Texas. She is a gifted and caring pediatrician with a special affinity for child health and advocacy. As a testament to her career, Dr. Rogerts received numerous recognitions and awards, such as the Teacher of the Year Award of Excellence, the Golden Rattle Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching, inaugurated as a recipient of the John P. McGovern Academy of Oslerian Medicine Excellence in Clinical Teaching, and inducted into the UTMB Academy of Master Teachers. Dr. Patricia Rogers was recognized in 2005 among the Best Doctors in America. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Galveston County Health District from 2022 - 2014. Dr. Rogers is the recipient of the Joseph T. Painter Distinguished Professorship in Teaching Excellence and several other awards. In September of 2020, she became an Emeritus William Osler Sholar. Her most recent accomplishment is in 2021 inclusion in the new edition of Women in Medicine. Above all, Dr. Patricia Rogers is loved by all her patients.
