Gala & Student Appreciation Banquet
The Gala & Student Appreciation Banquet is an evening dedicated to celebrating students, recognizing their accomplishments, and bringing the Osler community together. The event provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and guests to connect, celebrate, and recognize the meaningful contributions students make to the Osler Student Societies and the broader community.
The evening highlights two distinct categories of awards:
Osler Student Society Michael H. Malloy, MD, MS Awards in the Medical Humanities: These annual awards recognize one outstanding student from each class year—first through fourth—for exceptional projects exploring themes in the medical humanities. Each award includes a monetary prize.
Student Appreciation Awards: The Spirit of Osler Award, Above & Beyond Award, Outstanding Leadership Award, and Cornerstone Award celebrate students who exemplify the values of the Osler Student Societies through leadership, service, mentorship, dedication, and meaningful contributions to their peers and community.
The evening is an opportunity to come together as an Osler community, celebrate student achievements, recognize outstanding contributions, and build connections.
